Julia Cohen


Julia was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 23, 1989 and has an older brother, Josh. She started playing tennis at age 5 - encouraged by her Dad, Richard, who was a top-ranked junior. When unwinding from tennis, Julia enjoys discos, movies (her current favorite is 'Serendipity'), dancing and, as our pictures show, going to the beach - especially Miami's South beach - her favorite. At just 15, Julia is ranked 7 in the World in ITF Under-18's and won the Casablance Cup Grade A in Mexico. Julia trains hard and plays hard - and has a burning ambition to be a top-10 WTA player. Our pictures were taken at Key Biscayne, Florida, where Julia was an invited competitor in the Luxilon Cup - the Junior Event run in conjunction with the Nasdaq-100 Open. Based on what we saw, we confidently predict that she will achieve her goal...!
