In doubles qualifying, Irina Selyutina of Kazakhstan and Tatiana Panova of Russia lost a pro-set 4-8 to Akiko Morigami of Japan and Alina Jidkova of Russia who later lost to Marion Bartoli of France and Evie Dominikovic of Australia in a 'best of 3 set' match 1-6, 4-6. Bartoli and Dominikovic qualify for the main draw.
Marion Bartoli 'complained' that we always took pictures of her hitting a backhand - so, always eager to please, here are some forehands to balance our coverage.... And it's not my fault that they don't look much different than her backhands.... It's a good thing that she has logos on her shirt otherwise we might have been accused of flipping pictures of her backhand to 'create' pictures of forehands....!
And today we have time to bring you more than the normal selection of faces from around and about the tournament...
